-itches her ear- Again, huh? Guess I should stop being nervous about them, if they're going to be this often... Sets a bad example.

(Oh, screw it.'' I'm just gonna update this journal with all my characters. Eliminates the REALLY SCARY journal spam.

So, on here, I want you ladies, gents, and bugs to tell me about these babies:

:iconvocaloid-meiko: :iconnagone-mako: :iconyandere-taito: :iconguardian-voice:

...Out of which, you can actually critique ONE without trouble. Better than the last evaluation. Awesome.

I've had no time to use hardly anyone. The last big thing I've done with Taito was the Christmas Carol thing, and that didn't get finished (although it did get pretty far, considering). The last (and practically only) thing that I've done with Mako was the party for Sora's new voicebank, and that roleplay died off. And I'm still not too sure if that personality fits her. But hey, at least I've proven I can use her with it.'' Meiko, bwah, everyone knows about my issues with Meiko by now. I need to crank up some weirdness or something so she can fit in better.

This girl needs a life instead of the one I'm making up to explain how she's NEVER AROUND.''

And VOiCE. It's getting increasingly harder to use VOiCE. I still love him to death, I do! But with how detailed I usually am and with how... limited the 'bot is, I'm hitting walls all over the place. Eventually, they'll crumble, and we'll see where that goes.

...So. There's my story. Someone play me a sad song on the violin and let there be critique.)

Wwwoah.

2 min read
You know, sometimes, she felt damn lucky that she was how she was. Her room had been on the bottom floor, after all. If it hadn't gotten mowed over, it would've been crushed some way or another. Or maybe it would've been the one horrible thing that was left unaffected due to weird architecture.

The mansion always had seemed funky, after all. She wouldn't have been all that surprised if it just up and started floating around one day.

...In fact, she'd probably fall over in peals of laughter.

Anyway. Tiptoeing over strewn planks and discarded remains of assorted furniture and other things that hopefully weren't mechanical limbs or torsos, the brunette reached for a bright piece of fabric embedded in a pile. Giving it a tug, she recognized the setup as someone's curtains and remembered her own problem with her lackadaisical drapery and general unhappiness with her room's setup.

Maybe this accident was a good thing. So long as no one was beyond repair, they could all pick themselves up and get back to moving at their normal pace: high-strung and out of control. As soon as she got the chance, she'd talk to whatever architect they hired about planning something less... in the middle of the sun's nasty morning path. At the very least, she was claiming a room somewhere on the right side of the mansion this time.

No direct sunlight made for happy beauty sleep!

That aside, though. Brown eyes scanned over the carnage, and she frowned, understanding full-well that cleanup had to start. "I'll ask around. If they have enough pack mules, I'll help with boo-boos or something."

That said, she inched her way out of the rubble, looking for someone to direct her to a sign-up sheet or something along those lines.

With gusto -- or maybe just drunken strength; you can tell by her eyes she's not too sober -- the brunette slammed her sake bottle to the tabletop, holding onto the neck like it was some sort of glass gavel. "'l righ'! 'm tired 'f this! I don' care who's wha', we're doin' some'hin'!" A boot heel meaningfully stomped the floor, her head nodding in total self-understanding and determination.

"'m not as gentle as I look! Let's rock-climb! 'll skydive offa volcano or some'hin'!" Pouting, the red-clad Vocaloid fell back in her seat, crossing arms and legs in irritated reluctance. "'ll even go dancin'. But 'm not doin' anythin' on my own! 's more fun wif' a buddy, but I bet'cha already knew 'dat."

Thus satisfied, she took yet another empowering swig from her bottle and shook it a little, making a face at the apparent-emptiness or low-level-of-alcohol within it. "'m gettin' more sake first. Then we c'n talk like digi-nified, smart adults." At that point, she hiccuped and lolled her head back, laughing at herself.

(Translation: I NEED SOMETHING TO DO WITH THIS CHARACTER. @@; I've been browsin' and lookin' and nothing aside from occasional comment is coming to mind, which I don't think is all that helpful. PlusthejournalsareusuallyoldbythetimeIrealizewhatIcansay. -headdesk- I wanna do somethin' with Meiko really bad and actually get her into the loop more. 'm tired of making excuses for why she isn't around, and it's gotten to the point where I'm debating on giving her up in favor of a character that isn't so... normal, I wanna say.

I love Meiko to death -- wouldn't be playing her if I didn't! -- and I'm reluctant to hand her over just because I fail at role-playing life. Ideas, comments, and volunteers are loved, on that note. >A>;;

And yes, I'm very aware Meiko barely makes sense when she's drunk. Errors in her speech and terminology are intentional. XD)

(I'm not gonna mince words on this one. I set up my evaluation journal for Mako, and now you're getting one for Meiko.

To quote from my Mako journal: 'To break it down simply, you'll be getting a TRUE sample from me (how I really role-play), and a script sample for the two characters I play on their respective accounts. I don't want you to judge me just based on that. I'll list reasons for how I role play them, what I'm working on, and/or any problems I think I'm having. At that point... fire away; it's all yours.'

So, here's the last part: Meiko's version.

-----

:star:True Sample

Brown eyes were misted, seeing nothing yet everything as an off-tune warble sounded from her throat, one heavy hand whirling in the air as if keeping the beat.

"Hahaaaaah, 's Fridaaay. 's such a funny word, Fridaaay..."

Really, it had been a while since she'd gotten that drunk. There had been a bottle of her favorite sake in the fridge, and she hadn't had any plans that evening, so... why not? It was probably Meito's, because she certainly hadn't remembered buying it, but oh well. No use crying over digested alcohol.

"..." Meiko held up the now-empty bottle up to eye level, red-rimmed eyes looking at it as though seeing something profound written on the label. The silence lasted only a few moments, then the brunette just hooted in laughter, the bottle arcing through the air to land with a messy, bouncing plop on the chair across the room.

If that had happened when she was sober, it probably would have hit someone's head. Or, more likely yet, that window to the right.

A hand combed through messy hair, arms and legs sprawled bonelessly across various parts of the couch. There was just something about Fridays that made lounging and drinking so... awesome. Yeah, that was the word.

"Aweshum~" She giggled at the word, totally content to be in turmoil.

:star:Script Sample
...Okay, I dunnu. What's it supposed to be? -blinks, looking at the flashy costume- It's got more frills than one of those ocean-floor fish... And it's pink! Why is it pink!? -not happy with the thing at all- It's so... girly... -sulk- Is it too late to get a refund? Seriously?

-----

:star:Technicalities
:bulletblue:As said on Mako's version: 'I prefer using paragraph-styled role-playing, simply because it's easier for me. It's how I learned, and it's how I role-play just about everywhere else, unless I'm being lazy or silly, or planning something out for the heck of it, like an actual script preparation. As such, that gets in the way of me using script-styled role-playing on here. I really can't keep up, because, as you've seen, when I paragraph, I write a lot. In a group with a large number of people role-playing at once, using single-paragraphs or script variants, I can't keep up at all, hence why I'll either try to shrink down all that into a script-sized tidbit, or I'll only play when I know I can fit in. ...Even then, that rarely works. So I'll eventually find a medium, and I'm working on quite a few things to fix that.'

:bulletblue:I need to better balance my accounts, I know. I've done more with Mako than I have with Meiko, so there's not really much to base on for her, despite what I've posted. Hoping that won't pose much of a problem; I'm working on it, as you might've noticed, occasionally on the chat.

:bulletblue:Currently, I'm exploring multiple parts of Meiko's personality. And experiment means some things that might not work. Bode with me, help me out, point me in some direction for her. I'll see what I can put together.

:bulletblue: Add any critiques as you will.

Back and refreshed with a completely new vigor!

Everyone's behaving, right? I know I've said it before -- and if I hadn't, I wanted to! -- and I'll say it again: you're all not little monkeys! I don't mind fun, but c'mon, really? =  =;

...And now I feel old. Rats. -nurses a sake can, moping-

Oh, right. Before I forget again. I'm running on a new engine now, so there's your fair warning. Watch out, now, 'cause it's gonna be hard to keep up! :sing:

Really, though, I did miss everyone! Tell me what's happened with you all!
